It doesnt matter …
It doesnt matter how old you are when you go on pointe.. it matters if you are ready and stong enough and if your technique is good enough. I got on pointe when i was 12 and i know a girl who got on when she was 10

Ballet needs a return of artistry. It needs people whose souls are dedicated to dancing, acting, working, being more than empty technique.

This is for Alexander Greshenko: Vasilev, Maximova. Thank u so much for saying those names. I’m from ukraine and even if i’m young i grouwn up with the dancers of the old generation. And by seeing those dancers i realized who much i love to dance that i want to do it as a profession. You are totally right: the traditions are very important to a dancer. So thank u for saying this.
